31 Goals Review

by Carolyn ~ January 31st, 2009. Filed under: 31 Goals, EOM Review.

Orginally, at the beginning of the month, I thought on this day — the end of the month, the end of writing about my 31 goals, I would go over them, one by one, and write about my progress. However, along with the orginal post, I did state that these were not 31 goals I would try and accomplish in January, but rather, just 31 goals I would like to accomplish, taking the whole year to do it. Some of them, I have specified start dates.

Looking over the list, these are ones that I either accomplished, or at least worked on…

Complete 1 year study

In all reality, its pretty sad. Looking over the list, there are things that should take priority, that should be done … now, and I didn’t even attempt to work at. But. Putting a positive spin on this, I did set out to do something, and I did accomplish it. I blogged each and every day. My emailing Ruth was kinda 50 - 50. I answered several of her emails quite quickly; but then the last couple have kinda been lagging. So, thats something I really need to step up.

I am reading the devotion book most every day, so thats a good thing.

Tomorrow is a new month. A new slate of sorts. I want to continue with the success of what I have done so far, whether it was 10% or 100% successful, I want to keep the positiveness of “doing good” with them going. And ironically enough, NaBloPoMo’s theme for February is “Want”. I’m not going to do a 28 day lists of wants. I just need to take my wants and turn them into I “have”s. And I want to look at my list of 31 goals, and focus on a couple more. I’m all about organization and consistency. Blogging for 31 days straight was a lesson learned on focusing and keeping my eye on the finish line. I proved to myself that I can do it. So, moving forward, to doing more. The end goal is to be happy with myself and with progress I have made when I look back over 2009. I am tired of living a life of regrets.

If I could accomplish any goal, I think it would be to blog everyday. What I really need to do is have a fast from the computer but I don’t know if that will really ever happen!

I am glad for a new month and for some reason, starting on Sunday makes it all the better.
