What Do I Want?

by Carolyn ~ February 4th, 2009. Filed under: 2 - NaBloPoMo, 99 Questions.

1. What do I want?
To not have regrets. And right now, I have regrets, and I am having a hard time turning those regrets into a life worth living.

2. What am I grateful for?
Good friends, loving family

3. What’s missing in my life?
Balance. Most definately balance. Logic about health. The facts are staring me in the face, and yet, I do nothing to make things better. Thats not logical

4. Do I see the whole world anew each day?
Unfortunately, no. Each day seems to be the same, over and over. Get up. Got to work. Come home. Eat supper. Go to bed. And its a struggle to get through each day, from the minute I get up until the time I go to bed.

5. Do I take the time to really listen to what others say?
Probably not. David talks alot about the world he is in, which is trucks and drivers and problems. Lots and lots of problems. Ethan talks alot. And it is often drama filled. But, even when its not — details. Lots of “building up to the point” details. They are my life. I work with just one person in the morning … we talk, and yes, I do really listen to what he has to say. But David is my world in the afternoon, and if he’s home, Ethan is my world when the evening comes. I am losing touch with the world and what it has to say.
